Mongo is owned and loved by
Amy Bieri. He is Amy's first
competitive obedience dog. Mongo
had a Companion Dog Title by a
year of age with placements at
all breed trials.
Mongo and Amy ranked in the
top ten for scoring in obedience
trials in 2000.

Mongo placed third in
Open Companion Dog
Excellence at the 2000
American Boxer Club
National Specialty.
Mongo was trained in
bark and bite work for 3
years and became an
outstanding schutzhund
competitor. Amy started
competing with Mongo in
schutzhund events but
sadly after his first
trial due to a shoulder
injury Mongo had to be
retired. He was
trained heavily in
Utility Dog Excellence
and trialed briefly
until his injury.
Mongo retired on the
couch at the age of 6
years. Amy and Mongo
came back out at
the 2008
American Boxer
Club National
Specialty (Mongo
competed at 11
years of age!)
He won the
Veterans
Obedience Trial
the first day
and taking a
second placement
to his buddy
D'Artagnan on
the second day. |
